On 29 April we started the new Sauvignon Kretos vineyard in Forni di Sotto, at 840 meters above sea level.
This will be the first productive vineyard in the Friulian mountains.
After distributing 200 quintals of manure last summer, last month we ground the fertilizer with the first 50 cm of soil.
Subsequently we have implanted the poles in corten and in these days we have provided for the planting of the plants. About 1,500 bottles will be produced from this plant in 2024. The plant will be expanded next year, thus doubling the area under vines.
