Veraison – Nermantis 10.10.21

Nermantis has a good and uniform veraison on all planted plants. The color of the peel is very intense and, among the red berried varieties planted, it seems to be the one that best suits these territories.
On 15.10.2021 I will bring the first grape sample to the laboratory for the analysis of the potential alcohol content, acidity and pH.
The problem related to red grapes, at our altitudes, lies in the fact that, after the third week of October, the cold begins to get intense and the leaves fall, effectively blocking ripening.
So with these analyzes we will be able to have an objective confirmation, since they are already in the fifth year of impinato, on the oenological potential of this variety.
