The vineyards
The estate vineyards lie in Forni di Sotto, between 820 and 865 metres. Solaris predominates, alongside Sauvignon Kretos and Soreli. Training systems include modified bush vines and double spur cordon.
Research in the vineyard.
The first experimental plantings date to April 2015. Work on Solaris, Sauvignon Kretos and Soreli focuses on adaptation to the mountain environment. Solaris, Johanniter and Biovitis are research projects described on the original website.
Since 2015 I have studied resistant grape varieties and their relationship with this place. Solaris, Sauvignon Kretos and Soreli offer three answers to one question: what future can take root here?
